Cardinal Financial Services works in a collaborative way with its clients. We work at their pace, ensuring that at every stage of our process our clients feel in control, aware of what advice has been provided and comfortable with the advice we are giving.
Cardinal Financial Services follows a simple 4 step process.

Step 1: Discovery
Step 2: Strategy
Step 3: Implementation
Step 4: Review

Discovery In the early stage of our interaction with clients we concentrate on listening to them. We ask questions to understand their goals and aspirations, get an appreciation of their lifestyle and importantly understand their risk profile. During this process we also work to understand their financial structures that are in place currently to ensure they are as effective as possible.

Strategy Once we are sure that we have a clear understanding of our client’s needs and objectives, along with a full understanding of their current financial position, we will work with them to develop their unique Financial Plan. Importantly we do not just provide the advice but ensure our clients understand it, are comfortable with the strategies we have suggested and agree that our suggestions match their needs and objectives. Only then do we implement the advice.

Implementation When our clients have confirmed they are happy with the advice being provided, Cardinal Financial Services will remove as much administration burden as possible in implementing their strategy. We liaise with fund managers and product providers, ensure appropriate documents are completed accurately and where appropriate we interact with other professional advisers to ensure the administration process is as simple as possible for our clients.

Review Cardinal Financial Services has an ongoing relationship with clients. We understand that circumstances change, markets are unpredictable, legislation will be amended and new, more effective solutions are made available all the time by product providers. Therefore we feel it is imperative that we see our clients regularly to recalibrate their Financial Plan and ensure that the advice given previously is still appropriate. This is completed by way of an annual review meeting. Cardinal Financial Services will be in constant communication, during our relationship, ensuring that clients are aware of any factors that may affect the success of their plan.
